Down 0-14 Tipperary 1-11:A DISPUTED goal a minute from half-time and a last-gasp pointed free by Barry Brogan gave battling Tipperary a deserved draw against Down in Newry on Saturday night.
Three points from Conor Laverty and two frees by Martin Clarke helped Down lead 0-7 to 0-2. Tipperary hit back with points from Philip Austin, Christy Aylward, Conor Sweeney (a free) and Brian Coen whose goal left the visitors 1-6–0-8 ahead at the interval.
