Gaels were 0-5 to 0-1 ahead when they goaled in the 18th minute through Kevin McMenamin's neat finish. Lloyd Colfer and Eoin O'Neill traded points before Waldron received a straight red card. Peter Atkinson goaled for the Kingdom in the second half, but the comeback was never really on.
