Following the significant success of All-Ireland Gold, a series of GAA matches from the archives, Telefis na Gaeltachta, has now announced a similar series of programmes on boxing.

The six-part series called An Dorn Ceilteach (Celtic Fists) features some of the great boxers from Ireland, Scotland and Wales from John L Sullivan to Steve Collins has been produced in conjunction with Scottish, Welsh and English television programme-makers with commentary in Scots Gaelic, Welsh, Irish and English.

The first 30-minute programme will be broadcast on Telefis na Gaeltachta at 8.30 on Tuesday, September 2nd.
