Women's HockeyWith four of last season's top five teams in the Leinster first division - Loreto, Old Alexandra, Railway Union and Pembroke Wanderers - meeting tomorrow afternoon the results should give a fair indication of the relative strengths of this campaign's chief contenders.

Early leaders Pembroke will have their 100 per cent winning start to the season tested at Serpentine Avenue where the visitors will be Railway, second in the table. Loreto, meanwhile, host Old Alexandra at Beaufort having been tested last week by Three Rock, who they beat by just the single goal.

Hermes, who, like Loreto, have a game in hand on the top two, will expect to make it three wins out of three when they take on a Trinity side that saw their season begin with a 5-0 defeat by Railway last weekend. If Trinity can find a way through the Hermes defence they will become the first team to score against goalkeeper Nikki King this season.

Either Three Rock or Clontarf - or both if it's a draw - will break their points ducks at Grange Road when they meet tomorrow while UCD will also hope to get off the mark when they host Corinthian at Belfield.
