WILLIAM SERVAT

A key man. Good line-out thrower, loves carrying the ball. He'll probably be singing The Fields in the warm-up because he loves singing and everything that is Irish.
A country boy who loves his fishing and shooting too.
SALVATORE PERUGINI
Height: 1.82m/6' 0" Weight: 108kg/17st 0lb Age: 30.
HC: 33 games (1 try).
Solid. Does what all good props do and that's scrummage and do the donkey work. His strong points would be defence, he works very around the ruck and maul.
A lovely Italian, as honest as the day is long.
FABIEN PELOUS
Height: 1.98m/6' 6" Weight: 110kg/17st 4lb Age: 34.
HC: 74 games (7 tries).
What can be said about Fabien: Capped 118 times for France, he's done it all and is still going strong. A real hard player, his tackling is amazing, he has a great presence and is the father figure of the team.
PATRICIO ALBACETE
Height: 2.00m/6' 7" Weight: 115kg/18st 1lb Age: 27.
HC: 11 games (0 pts).
Probably one of the two or three best locks in the world. Very aggressive with very good skills, strong and mobile. Keeps to himself, but always there for you and when s*** hits the fan Patricio is the one who'll do something.
THIERRY DUSAUTOIR
Height: 1.88m/6' 2" Weight: 95kg/14st 13lb Age: 26.
HC: 22 games (0 pts).
Quiet off the pitch, but a different man on it. A workhorse and probably the most ferocious tackler in French rugby. Knows Munster from playing with Biarritz and made 36 tackles against All Blacks here in World Cup quarter-final.
JEAN BOUILHOU
Height: 1.92m/6' 4" Weight: 101kg/15st 12lb Age: 29.
HC: 53 games (4 tries).
Line-out and kick-off specialist, with ability to hang in the air and steal opposition ball. Has a massive work-rate, wherever the ball is, Jean Bouilhou is there. Our most skilful of all the forwards and like an extra back.
SHAUN SOWERBY
Height: 1.95m/6' 5" Weight: 108kg/17st 0lb Age: 29.
HC: 21 games (1 try).
Brought an awful lot from Stade Français this year. Calls the shots in the line-outs and he just reads the game so well. He can hold back and he counter-attacks well. Has really fitted into the whole Toulouse way seamlessly.
JEAN-BAPTISTE ELISSALDE
Height: 1.72m/5' 8" Weight: 78kg/12st 4lb Age: 30.
HC: 40 games (4 tries, 77 cons, 66 pens, 2 d-goals, 378 pts).
Always capable of bringing some magic, Jean-Baptiste can do incredible things with the ball. His kicking ratio is around 90 per cent and despite playing out of position has done a fantastic job. Devastating if pack is going forward.
YVES DONGUY
Height: 1.81m/5' 11" Weight: 91kg/14st 4lb Age: 26.
HC: 3 games (2 tries).
Came from Brive this season, his defence is incredible. In the semi-final, he put Leguizamon back five yards. He'll look to come up hard and flat on Howlett and put pressure on him. A great finisher too with fantastic speed.
YANNICK JAUZION
Height: 1.92m/6' 4" Weight: 105kg/16st 7lb Age 29.
HC: 46 games (10 tries).
Probably the best centre in the world a year or two ago. Still breaks tackles and sets up gaps for others, but has lost a bit of speed, as was seen in semi-final a couple of times. A down-to-earth bloke from a farming background.
MALELI KUNAVORE
Height: 1.82m/6' 0" Weight: 100kg/15st 10lb Age: 24.
HC: 11 games (1 try)
A typically brilliant Fijian runner with the ball in-hand, though, defensively, Tipoki and Mafi could ask questions of himself and Yannick. Reads the game well, and very good at breaking tackles, staying on his feet and offloading.
MAXIME MEDAR
Height: 1.80m/5' 11" Weight: 88kg/13st 12lb Age: 21.
HC: 10 games (2 tries).
Has been a star for Toulouse, where he's come up through the under-age ranks, this season. The leading Top 14 try scorer this season, he'll be playing for France soon. Quick, fantastic counter-attacker and strong defensively.
CEDRIC HEYMANS
Height: 1.79m/5' 10" Weight: 96kg/15st 1lb Age: 29.
HC: 47 games (11 tries, 1 con, 1 pen, 1 drop goal, 63 pts).
Unpredictable, he can win or lose games. You never know what he's going to do with the ball. Wing is his natural position, but has converted to fullback well and, in the four games since his bad semi-final, Cedric has been on fire.
