Munster Colleges SFC:TRALEE CBS, the holders, beat a brave Pobal Scoil Chorcha Dhuibhne side by 0-15 to 1-7 in Saturday's semi-final at Fitzgerald Stadium. Tralee led by 0-6 to 0-2 at the interval and they upped their game in the second half to lead by 0-12 to 0-5 by the third quarter.
The west Kerry side battled back, however, with Joe Sheehy converting two frees and scoring a 56th-minute goal to leave a goal between the sides.
Tralee's Barry Shanahan surged upfield for a point and then Barry John Keane polished off Tralee's win with another free.
Tralee will face St Brendan's College in the competition's final on March 9th. The Killarney college saw off the challenge of Coláiste Chríost Rí by 1-10 to 1-5 in Cloughdubh yesterday.
Philip O'Sullivan's goal helped the Cork side lead 1-3 to 0-4 at the interval. But a crucial 50th minute goal from James O'Donoghue boosted St Brendan's and they added five points to seal victory.SCORERS
