Portmarnock CS came out on top in an exciting encounter at Dr Hickey Park, Greystones, yesterday.
Portmarnock ran in five tries, with a brace apiece by centre Michael Gallen and Stephen Price, who was brought in as a replacement.
Their Wicklow opponents trailed 10-14 at half-time, and only managed three tries, from James Byrne, Liam Nolan and Daragh Murray.
