Trim captured the Meath senior hurling championship crown for a record 25th time when they overcame a brave Dunderry side in the replay of the final in Athboy yesterday.
The reigning champions were ahead by double scores at the interval, 1-7 to 0-5, with a fortunate goal from corner-forward Eibhin Lynam coming as a damaging blow for Dunderry in first-half injury time.
