Tulfarris tickets up for grabs

We were doing a few calculations the other day with our trusty abacus and we came up with an alarming statistic. In the course of this year's Golf Masters there are 29 fourballs up for grabs to each weekly winner, which means that 20,955 teams in the competition (assuming there's a different winner every week) will never win a trip to Tulfarris.

And if you have a team that includes, say, Jarrod Moseley, Mark James, Sam Torrance, Peter O'Malley, Pierre Fulke and Dean Robertson (who've earned £0 between them so far) you're probably beginning to think your chances of winning the Lottery this year are greater. And you'd probably be right.

Well, we can't be having that, can we? So, in an attempt to lower the odds against you making it to Co Wicklow The Irish Times and AIB are offering 100 pairs of tickets to the AIB Irish Seniors Open, which takes place in Tulfarris between May 12th and 14th.

The offer is exclusive to Golf Masters' managers and all you have to do to enter the draw is email your name, address, day time telephone number and your Golf Masters' team name and number to golf@aib.ie by Friday, May 5th. The 100 winners will be selected at random and will receive their tickets by post.

Of course, not everyone over six years of age has access to email so, if you don't, just ask your great grandchild to enter for you. Good luck to all.
