Two-goal goalkeeper not enough

Antrim ... 4-14 Kerry ... 3-8NATIONAL HURLINGLEAGUE/Division Two semi-final: Antrim finished stronger at Newbridge yesterday to reach the Division Two final. They had a goal from Conor McCambridge after just 30 seconds, and although Kerry levelled with a penalty converted by goalkeeper John Healy, Antrim dominated the opening half and led 3-5 to 1-1 at half-time.

Kerry had the advantage of the strong breeze for the second half and they made inroads. Healy was again summoned from his post to send a close-range free to the net to cut Antrim's lead to five points in the 42nd minute, but Kerry were unable to maintain the momentum.

The northerners responded quickly and a goal by Brian McFall, who had also goaled in the first half, left Kerry with just too much work to do.
