Ulster MFC/Tyrone 1-13 Fermanagh 0-8: Tyrone eased their way into the semi-final of the Ulster minor football championship with a deserved victory over Fermanagh in Clones yesterday.
Tyrone had three points inside four minutes from Gareth Devlin, Niall Kerr and Ray Mulgrew and a goal from a penalty in the 10th minute by Colm Cavanagh set them up for victory.
While Fermanagh opened their account through a Séamus Quigley point two minutes later, Tyrone forged further ahead with points by Brendan Boggs, Mulgrew and Cavanagh.
Tyrone led at half-time by 1-7 to 0-3 and, although second-half points from Pat Cadden and Kevin Ferguson kept Fermanagh in touch, Cavanagh and Mark Cunningham hit late points to underline Tyrone's superiority
