The hype around Mike Tyson's heavyweight bash with Julius Francis next Saturday continues to grow, and any fears that Irish TV viewers might have to miss out on a second of the action have now been averted.

Cablelink announced this week that they will be providing live coverage with a special pay-per-view link-up with Sky Sports - adding to such spectacular pay-per-view events as WWF wrestling and live Boyzone concerts. Regular Cablelink customers can order the fight for £11.95 before midnight on Friday, January 28th (or £16.95 afterwards) by calling (01) 799 8266.

Tyson could be well making more regular appearances on Irish TV, should he pursue his plans to settle in Britain. "I wanted to move to Europe when I first went to Milan in 1989," he said this week, before breaking into a brief history lesson. "There's a big difference when I come to Europe. You have to understand Europe's been around intelligently since Attila the Hun, since before Christ.

"I'm dealing with a country that's 200 years old. Our country, America, isn't developed enough or sophisticated enough to deal with the sensitivity of human beings."
