UCD golfers will be bidding for a record 10 wins in a row when they take on Dublin University in the annual colours match at Portmarnock on Thursday. UCD have won the last nine meetings, a feat also achieved by Trinity some years earlier, so Thursday's match could see the Belfield squad reach the magical 10.

Captained by Connacht interprovincial Paul Roddy, UCD can also call on Justin Keogh, a member of the Irish Youths' European Champions team, Mark Campbell, a member of the Under 19s, and Leinster interpros Hugh Hanley and Ian Griffin. Trinity will have the services of Leinster panelists Brian Leonard and Rob Lee.
