Venus Williams takes aim at double gold when she and sister Serena face Dutch duo Kristie Boogert and Miriam Oremans in the final of the women's doubles today. Already this year's Wimbledon and US Open champion, Venus added an Olympic title by claiming the singles yesterday as she swept past Russian Elena Dementieva 6-2 64.

Yet to lose a match since she bowed out of the French Open earlier this summer - she is on a 32-match winning streak - Venus is almost as formidable when she plays alongside her younger sister. The two have won 32 of the 33 matches they have played together.

Venus' supremacy yesterday was never in doubt, and, if she stays healthy, her best years are well ahead of her. "I think that because I've been blessed with being pretty athletic, I can really keep improving my game throughout my career," she said.
