Ruby Walsh could come in for the plum ride on Ad Hoc in the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Newbury on Saturday. However, a decision will not be made until at least today.

Walsh's father, Ted, has Commanche Court in the race and much will depend on whether the former Irish Grand National winner takes his place in the line-up. Tony Dobbin is also standing by.
