Picking up birdies along the way certainly helps when you're trying to compile a good score, but collecting an albatross definitely goes a long way. Well Swedish national David Ahs - a member of the Microsoft Golf Society - performed a unique feat at Enniscrone recently. He birdied the difficult par four, third hole (index 2) and then went on to have an albatross two on the 504 yard par five, fifth hole. He took a three wood off the tee and then holed out with a four wood. He duly collected 11 points for those two holes, which went a long way to helping David win the competition.
