Waterford Utd - 2 Cork City - 1 Waterford United got back on the winning trail at the RSC last night when they came from behind to win with a penalty goal three minutes from time.
Cork City opened the scoring on 35 minutes after goalkeeper Dan Connor failed to cut out a shot from George O'Callaghan. John Frost cleared off the line but the ball fell to Colin T O'Brien, who drilled it to the net.
Waterford's equaliser arrived on 78 minutes when PJ Banville scored with a header. Waterford took the lead with a penalty goal from Vinnie O'Sullivan three minutes from time after Alan Carey fouled Kevin Waters in the area.
