Profile: Magnificent Eddie Hackett-designed links course that enchants all those who play it. The late Payne Stewart was a regular visitor, Tiger Woods, Mark O'Meara, Tom Watson, Henry Cotton and Sam Snead also enjoyed the famed hospitality. The 11th, "Tranquillity" is arguably the best par five in Ireland. Mulcahy's Peak, the towering tee box on the 17th - it's named after the Irish-American John A Mulcahy whose brainchild the course was - offers a view of the entire course.
