PORTO officials accused Milan's Liberian striker George Weah of head butting defender Jorge Costa at the end a bad tempered Champions' League clash last night.

Club doctor Jose Carlos Esteves told journalists that Costa, who was shown on television after the game with blood streaming from his nose, would have an X ray today to see the extent of the damage.

"Costa was head butted by Weah and did not have time to defend himself," Esteves said. Television pictures showed players from Milan and Porto scuffling in the tunnel leading to the dressing rooms at the end of the game.
