SAILING: For the second time this week the Fáilte Ireland GP14 World Championship at Sligo Yacht Club was cancelled due to high winds.

There are three races scheduled for today that will, weather permitting, complete the five-race pre-qualification series. These races involve "gate starts" for the massed 130-boat fleet.

From tomorrow onwards the fleet is split into Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions with the result decided by Friday afternoon.
