Cork v University of Limerick,

Páirc Uí Rinn, 7.30

Conor Counihan’s regular shuffling of his resources hasn’t inhibited the Munster champions’ progress to the final and they will be favourites to add another college scalp although UL have beaten two county sides, Limerick and Waterford on their way.

Dr McKenna Cup (SF) final

Donegal v Queen’s University,

Omagh, 7.30

Queen’s gave a great display in defeating holders Down under lights on Thursday and look in good shape for the upcoming Sigerson Cup. Donegal beat Armagh in an absorbing match to qualify and can edge the result here.

Sunday

Connacht League (SF) final

Galway v Roscommon,

Tuam, 2.0

Fergal O’Donnell has made an early start to his task of raising morale and performance in Roscommon by getting to the final. They will do well to win however given the home side’s impressive early-season form.

Munster Cup (SH) final

Clare v Tipperary,

Ogonnelloe, 2.0

Something of a collector’s piece in terms of the secondary provincial competitions in that the final re-unites last year’s championship finalists. Both are giving younger players a run but Clare have been slightly more impressive.

O’Byrne Cup (SF) final

Louth v DCU,

Drogheda, 2.0

Another of the provincial finals to feature a third-level outfit, this could go DCU’s way as Niall Moyna’s side approaches readiness for the Sigerson whereas the home side are missing a few regulars.

Walsh Cup (SH) semi-finals

Antrim v Kilkenny,

Casement Park, 2.0

A bit of an event for Antrim with the All-Ireland champions coming to visit. Any notion that Kilkenny’s hunger might be wavering took a knock during the six-goal demolition of under-strength Dublin and they will expect to advance.

Wexford v Galway,

New Ross, 2.0

Galway showed some good touches in the entertaining win over Offaly last week and will be slightly favoured to notch up their first competitive meeting with Kilkenny under the Leinster umbrella.

Other matches:

O’Byrne Cup Shield (SF) final: Carlow v Laois, Dr Cullen Park, 2.15.

Kehoe Cup (SH) semi-finals: Westmeath v DCU, Mullingar, 2.0; Carlow v DIT, Bagenalstown, 1.30.

Kehoe Cup Shield (SH) semi-finals: Louth v Mayo, Darver, 2.0; Kildare v Longford, Newbridge, 2.0.
