Third round update: Boo Weekley has closed the gap on the leaders in the third round of the US PGA Championship at Southern Hills after carding a 65 to move to level par.
However, that is still six adrift of overnight pacesetter Tiger Woods who does not take to the course until 8pm Irish time.
Woods and Scott Verplank are in the final group of the day, with Woods holding a two-shot lead after a major championship record-tying 63 on Friday. Verplank is alone in second at four-under par.
Sweden's Niclas Fasth is at one under and also goes off shortly after 7pm, as does Paul McGinley, the Dubliner getting to even par for the championship with a second-round 66.
Open champion Padraig Harrington was paired with Ryder Cup teammate Paul Casey and teed off a short time ago. Both remain at two-over.
Darren Clarke, who matched McGinley's 66 yesterday to get to three-over and make the cut is four-over after playing eight holes.
