DERMOT WELD yesterday supplemented his Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial second, Casey Tibbs, for the Prix du Jockey Club on Sunday at a cost of over £28,000.

The addition of the Irish colt means that a maximum field of will now line up for the classic, which will be run over a mile and a half at Chantilly.

A British trio consisting of Peter Chapple Hyam's Voyagers Quest (John Reid), plus the John Gosden pair Perfect Paradigm and Conon Falls were left in.

The other acceptors were: Astarabad, Shaka, Fier Danseur, Bonapartiste, Fragrant Mix, Speedfriend, Ithaki, Arabian King Oscar, Kashwan and Peintre Celebre.

There were no supplementary entries for the other Group One event on Sunday's card, the Prix Jean Prat, for which David Loder's 2,000 Guineas fourth Starborough (Dettori) and Gosden's Mamalik (Richard Hills) were acceptors.

Andre Fabre's pair, the Prix de Guiche winner Kirkwall and the French 2,000 Guineas third, Visionary, also stood their ground as did Cirino and Night Player. Hever Golf Rose (Olivier Peslier), Passion For Life (Pat Eddery) and Crowded Avenue (Gerald Mosse), have all been declared for the Group Two Prix du Gros Chene (5f) at Chantilly tomorrow.
