Everything went well on his debut at Fairyhouse, and although beaten by Jezki in the Grade One Future Champions Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown he may have been closer but for a bad mistake at the second last.
He took an early fall in the Deloitte Novice Hurdle last time out, however, and Weld says his next outing is all about building his confidence back up. “He’s a nice horse, he’s very talented,” said Weld. “The reason for running him tomorrow is all about building his confidence back up. He took a pretty nasty fall the last day. Let’s just see how he gets on before we make any plans. He’s still in the Supreme and Neptune, but we’ll just take it one day at a time with him.
“He might be one for Fairyhouse and Punchestown.”
