A TREMENDOUS second half display enabled Westmeath to chalk up a rare win over Meath at Cusack Park on Saturday.
The sides were level at the break, 2-3 to 0-9, but it took goals from Paul Sharry and James Durkan to keep Westmeath in touch. A goal from Michael Newman handed the initiative to the visitors, but Westmeath strung together 10 unanswered points for victory.
