Division Two B/ Wexford 2-10 Sligo 1-10: A late Sligo surge came up just short at Wexford Park yesterday in a game full of errors and poor football.
Wexford looked to be cruising when Paddy Colfer tapped a PJ Banville cross to the net to lead by 2-9 to 0-9 with only 10 minutes left - but they were never really convincing and it was Sligo who did most of the pressing after that.
Sligo blew it though when Mark Breheny pulled a penalty the wrong side of the posts.
