FAI Cup Second round/ Limerick 37 1 Wexford Youths 1:Wexford Youths caused a minor upset at Jackman Park last night when they took hotly-fancied Limerick 37 to a replay in this second-round Ford FAI Cup game, despite having to play the last 10 minutes without Gareth Larkin who was red-carded by the referee.

Former Limerick manager Noel O'Connor was in the dugout for the visitors and he can look forward with confidence to next Tuesday's replay.

Wexford Youths provided an early scare when Stuart Lawlor headed marginally over the crossbar. At the other end, Conor Molan produced a similar effort, and as Limerick began to dictate, Wexford goalkeeper Jason Russell saved from Brian Buckley, Ross Cosgrave and Dave Wall.

Conor Synott went close to opening the scoring for the visitors on 36 minutes when his free caught Dave Ryan off balance, but the goalkeeper recovered in time to avert the danger.
