COLLEGE NIGHT is today's value bet to register her second victory within the space of a week in the `See the Difference' Fillies' Handicap at Red car. The five-year-old has been frustrating in the past but seems to have `clicked' since joining Stuart Williams.

Winless in her previous 24 starts, College Night obliged at the first time of asking for the Newmarket trainer last week at Brighton, beating Marengo one and a quarter lengths in a six furlong handicap.

She has to shoulder a 7lb penalty here but apprentice Darren Williams should be able to draw all of his claim, meaning that College Night will run off a feather-weight of 7st 4lb.

The mad steps up to seven furlongs here but that should suit take note of her quarter length third to Perilous Plight over the trip last season, achieved off a 5th higher mark than this afternoon.

In an open race, the in-form College Night can take advantage of the considerable amount of weight she receives from her principal rivals.

Epic Stand has proved costly to follow so far this season but he can set the record straight by winning the `Classic Suite' Handicap.

Lynda Ramsden's three-year-old opened his account in the twilight of last Flat season at the Cleveland track when beating Double Espresso by a length in a race run over a mile.

That stamped the gelding as one to follow in handicaps this year but he has occupied the runner-up berth twice so far.

Back over 10 furlongs today and at the scene of his sole success to date, Epic Stand should be spot on now and can register a deserved victory.
