National League Premier Division: Shelbourne can wrap up a second successive Eircom League title in the next four matches, though the needs of Dublin City are greater tonight when top meets bottom at Tolka Park.
While Shelbourne can still let the title slip from their finger tips, they have shown repeatedly this season they have enough in reserve to escape the tightest of situations, though manager Pat Fenlon puts their success down to never looking too far ahead.
"We must concentrate on each game as it comes. Three points tonight will make it harder for everyone to catch us and that is the only aim. It's dangerous to be thinking 'this time next month' or anything," he said.
For Dublin City, the need for points is more pressing. Still 10 points behind second-from-bottom Shamrock Rovers, their inferior goal difference means they need to close the gap to at most two points before the sides meet on the final day of the season.
But manager Roddy Collins has insisted on setting an easier target first. "Get three points quickly is our only goal. Draws are no good to us at this stage and we've got to starting winning," he said.
Collins welcomes back Robbie Farrell from suspension, and he is the only addition to the squad which drew with St Patrick's Athletic last week.
Shelbourne will be without suspended duo Stuart Byrne and Ollie Cahill, while Joseph Ndo is out for the rest of the season with a groin problem.
