We asked:Where do Ireland go from here?
Home!!!!!

The sad reality of the situation is Eddie O'Sullivan has failed Irish rugby on several fronts. He has not looked to the future in any match over the past six years. I believe all 30 players should have been given a chance to display their skills and form in the first two games. Any player who has entered team Ireland in the past six years has been more or less by accident. Gordon D'Arcy, case in point.
One part of a coach's job is to improve and develop players. Eoin Reddan was fantastic on Friday. How much better would he have been had he 10 full international caps under his belt?
Where to from here? Well, we have four more years of EOS so we know what to expect. There will be very little change. He will probably be asking players in retirement to come to the next World Cup with him. I feel he should do the honourable thing and step down. We need a fresh approach.
History will show he has the best win ratio of any other Ireland coach. What history will probably hide is the fact he has had the most talented group of players at his disposal. I think it highly unlikely I will ever see two Irish centres with such innate natural ability again in my lifetime.
History will also ignore one very consistent trend during O'Sullivan's tenure, massive underperformance in critical matches: England, Grand Slam decider, Lansdowne Road; France, quarter-final, RWC 2003; France, RWC 2007.

To beat Argentina, score four tries, and deny Argentina a bonus point we need to bring our greatest attacking threats, Murphy and Hickie, in for Dempsey and Trimble.
We need O'Kelly and Quinlan to replace O'Callaghan and Easterby (for the first 60 minutes) as to move Argentina around we need to be sure of winning our own lineout ball, which has been a problem for us (Chabal and Bonnaire are not that good). The Argentinian lineout against France was their weakest area. Quinlan will add fire to the pack and improve our mauling.
We need O'Gara and Reddan to keep Argentina guessing by kicking sometimes and making the odd break.
If momentum is with us and we attack in numbers we may force an Argentinian yellow card.
We will win and get at least two tries and on a very good day we may get the required four. Good luck, Ireland.

First of all O'Sullivan and the team should watch the hurling and football matches this year (especially Limerick and Tipperary, Cork and Waterford) and look at the spirit and commitment they bring to the game (and all players and managers have to get up the next morning and go to work). Where has our passion gone? Are they earning too much money by writing press articles and doing PR, etc? Denis Hickie was interviewed by Setanta 20 minutes after the Namibia game - that should not be allowed. Paul O'Connell's article in the Sunday Times yesterday was a joke. That's my rant for now.
BRING BACK THE IRISH PASSION.

Somebody MUST impress on Eddie O'Sullivan his reason (excuse) for dropping Geordan Murphy is now invalid for the Argentina game. We need to pick the team most likely to score tries and it DOES NOT MATTER if they concede up to three tries as well, as long as we win by seven points.
Ireland must use the Munster v Gloucester match as their psychological beacon for the way forward. IT CAN BE DONE, if people believe it and want it enough.
If O'Sullivan does not feel team spirit/motivation is his brief, can he urgently get in someone to do it?
If he refuses, the IRFU CEO must overrule him at this moment of crisis.
