We have all become dependent on our smartphones for capturing photographs of important memories, from long-planned family events to spontaneous days out.
And that makes sense; the best camera is the one you have on you. But there are times when you need something more, something that a smartphone camera isn’t quite capable of yet.

That’s where Canon’s EOS R6 Mark II comes in. This is the fastest advanced full-frame mirrorless camera Canon has produced to date. You get 40 frames per second, low-light autofocus, and 6K RAW and 4K UHD movies.
It can track subjects to keep them sharp while they are moving through a scene. It uses artificial intelligence to recognise people, vehicles and animals, and you can choose which type of subject to autotrack from the menu.
The new R6 Mark II has some serious image stabilising technology too, with optical and in-body to shoot long exposures, or go handheld and retain sharpness, even when the light is fading.
