Sky Live (€349)

Sky Glass is getting an update of sorts. The long-promised Sky Live camera is here, giving you a way to turn your TV into the biggest Zoom call in your home. The interactive camera is exclusive to Sky’s own TV sets, and brings new features such as interactive motion-controlled gaming, workouts with personal trainers and the aforementioned video calls. You can even use it to watch TV with friends and family who are not in your home, from sharing all the important moments of a crucial game to watching the latest episode of your favourite TV show. It has a magnetic base to attach to the TV, too.

The new camera has some requirements though, the most important being the wifi speed. You need a consistent 30mbps speed to use it properly, although if you already have Sky Glass there’s a good chance you have a decent wifi connection in your home. It also requires a Sky TV subscription to use the services. And, like Sky Glass, you can pay for it outright – €349 normally, although it is available for €301 for a limited time – or spread the cost over two years or four years.
