Sir, – It is great to see that CRH is pulling out of Russia in response to the invasion of Ukraine.
How many other Irish companies have found a conscience and are following suit? Surely now having witnessed the brutality of this Russian regime it is time to examine the credentials of companies regarding environmental, social and governance standards (ECG).
If the likes of Kingspan, Smurfit Kappa and Kerry Group can find a social conscience and take the moral route out of Russia their shareholders should congratulate them.
