Sir , – I am sure I am not alone in being outraged at the arrogance of Phil Hogan's consideration of taking a case against the European Union ("Hogan does not rule out seeking compensation over events which led to resignation", News, February 21st).
The exit of Mr Hogan was as much about his prevarication about his travels around the country in lockdown, rather than his attendance at the actual golf outing. – Yours, etc,
