A chara, – My wife and I are going back to school today after the summer holidays. Well, it really is our granddaughter who has gone back. We will go back this afternoon when we go to collect her. Last night she told her Mammy that she was looking forward to seeing her friends again and also to seeing more of Grandad and Grandma, after all the coming and going of the summer holidays. When I see those children emerge from the school, I sometimes envy their teachers (of whom I was one) who have the privilege of spending so much time with such beautiful people. – Yours, etc,
