Sir, – Now that the Ringsend incinerator is more or less completed, it is hard not to reach the conclusion that it is an utter eyesore. When one is driving along the seafront in Sandymount, it blights the landscape to the north. Even when you overlook the city from a vantage point in the likes of Dundrum or from the Dublin mountains, you can locate it in seconds. It is truly a lump with little or no redeeming features. One wonders if it is visible from space? – Yours, etc,
