Sir, – Having seen the full-page Meta smartglasses advertisement, the wording intrigued me. We are informed that when the white LED light is on, we are being videoed or pictured by the wearer. I have come to the conclusion that perhaps this is a thinly veiled advert to encourage purchase of the glasses and for those unscrupulous persons among us to disable the warning light by painting or taping over the light to avoid detection. – Yours, etc,
