Aldi has started a new series of promotions called Wine of the Week, although they actually seem to run for two weeks, with discounts on two featured wines. The two wines below will be on offer until June 12th. This week, a white and a rosé, in anticipation of a lovely sunny days ahead.

This is a nice summery wine with succulent stone fruits balanced perfectly by a refreshing acidity, finishing dry. This would go nicely with creamy chicken, fish or pasta dishes as well as cauliflower steak, or quiche. 13% abv, €8.99, down from €10.99.
Specially Selected Clare Valley Kooliburra Rosé 2022
Off-dry with tangy ripe strawberry and raspberry fruits. Light enough to enjoy by itself, but it would also go nicely with mixed salads and barbecued fish. 11.5% abv, €6.99 down from €8.99.
