Two French wines from Lidl this week, both priced at just under €10. Provence rosé has been very fashionable for a few years now. The wines are pale, crisp and dry with red summer fruits. There are plenty of other rosé wines though, and not just from France, but today I feature one from Provence.
The Médoc is one of the most famous parts of Bordeaux, containing some of the most prestigious wine names of all. I cannot pretend that the Médoc below compares with Château Lafite or Latour, but it is a pleasant rounded fruity red wine.
