Two alcohol-free craft beers to try over the festive period
Two alcohol-free craft beers to try over the festive period

Beers rather than wines this week. I covered alcohol-free wines fairly extensively recently so I thought I would feature two newish alcohol-free beers this week, aimed at those going dry this January.

The Fierce Mild was released last year and has rapidly become one of my favourite alcohol-free beers. The Wicklow Wolf was released in time for Christmas, and I imagine, Dry January. It will replace Moonlight, their current alcohol-free beer.

This was one of my discoveries of 2024. A great beer full of flavour with crisp acidity, plenty of lightly peachy fruits and nice hoppy bite.

Very widely available from independent wine shops, Molloy’s; select SuperValu; Select Centra. See Fiercemild.co
